Description
Another Jam Packed Issue!! And the opportunity to interview Mrs World is not an opportunity that comes every day and it is an opportunity we approached with determination, commitment and Prayer. It is not often that Mrs World is unashamedly and boldly a #GodsGirl and having her on the cover of arise Magazine, in the month celebrating International Women’s Day is a perfect opportunity we were not willing to miss, especially because she is in so many ways one of our us.
Reading about her and listening to her numerous interviews revealed her journey as a unique, unexpected but super special one. She shares with us her experience, her dreams and hearing God speak to her. What better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than with
Tshego Gaelae – Mrs World on the cover?
The first quarter of 2025 is coming to an end, and I know many of us will feel overwhelmed by what we have not achieved. I Pray you give yourself Grace and do not allow yourself to be taken over by feelings of failure, stagnation and disappointment. This era demands a lot from us but be reminded that our capacity is limited and that some of the demands are unhealthy and unnecessary – acknowledging this truth is critical to our well-being.
This issue of arise Mag is dedicated to reminding us of the importance of our health, especially mental, emotional well-being, without which we achieve nothing good. Let me remind you that sometimes you are right where you are supposed to be even if it is not where you want or planned to be. It’s about accepting the Season you are in and responding accordingly, hence Pastor Julia Tayor (pg6) and Noni Raseluma (pg25) testimonies of God’s Good that comes with accepting their unexpected Seasons and challenges. Failure to accept the Season for what it is leads to striving for fruit that is out of season and is without a doubt a fruitless and harmful pursuit.
There are amazing women throughout the pages of this issue who inspire me, and I trust they’ll inspire you too. The aim of arise Magazine is to make Jesus Famous and confirm and confess that He is still alive, He cares about us and continues to surprise us through His Miracles, Blessings and making a way where we think there is no way. Secondly, we aim to showcase and elevate women-owned businesses and their different journeys to encourage and inspire women.
