Description
I FALL more and more in love with each issue of arise Magazine as it takes form. With each feature, page design and a ‘yes’ from a client, my heart grows fonder.
THANK YOU GOD FOR BLESSING ME WITH THE WORK AND CALLING THAT KEEPS MY HEART SWELLING WITH JOY, SATISFACTION, AND APPRECIATION.
This issue is a commemoration of South Africa’s Women’s Month and an opportunity to celebrate inspiring and exceptional women from across the country. We feature them across different ages, professions, races, and businesses.
I am excited by the deep and varied relationships they have with God, and how their journeys cannot be told without mentioning Him or their faith. The common thread you will find running through the stories of Oketsang Mookeletsi, Rebeccah, Cheyna, Di, and Jeanie Nel is the purpose in their businesses and professions. They challenge us to do business differently—with purpose. Their breakaway from traditional ways of doing business will leave you inspired and in awe. May we learn from them. They show us that, for them, it is more than just work and profit—it is about a sincere desire to make a lasting impact.
Our cover feature is Ruth Mthabine, a powerhouse in every sense. She has journeyed through life with bravery and grace, overcoming where many would have crumbled. She teaches and affirms the truth that we women are built to overcome, and that with God, all things are possible. Thank you, Sis Ruth.
Our bonus cover feature is the beautiful, creative, and graceful Ayanda Nhlapho—a rising star in the entertainment and fashion industries
The issue is also commemoration of Women’s Month and it would not be a true representation without including young and upcoming female leaders. Meet Naledi on page 26, an 18-year-old who has written and self-published her book. Very impressive!
A big congratulations also goes to South African Council for Businesswomen on their commitment to meaningfully uplift young women. Read about this movement on page 16.
In a nutshell, this is another inspiration-filled, jam-packed issue of arise Magazine—celebrating women to inspire women. Please enjoy the issue. Send names of women you’d like to read about. Follow us @arisemagazineint and join our growing community.
As always, may this issue Bless you as working on it has Blessed me.
With Love, Light and Shalom, from God, my Daddy, to you.
